CLUB MIXED PAIRS - SUNDAY 5th JUNE.

Sunday saw 4 Sections of Mixed Teams playing for the Club Mixed Pairs Trophy with many a Husband & Wife team brave enough ( or stupid enough ) to play together. It takes a special kind of couple to make it through this day without an argument.

Needless to say, the Final was contested between two teams without family ties - with the Team of Arthur Critchel and Christine Laverty defeating George Leamy and Jeanette Parker in a thrilling final.

Thanks to everyone who set out the Greens and worked so hard in the kitchen.

BALLOTED MIXED RINKS: SUNDAY 1st MAY.

The Final of the first Competition of the year was contested between the Teams of:

George Leamy, Pat Cross, Jackie McLean and Liz Parker and

Raymond Smith, Davie Abernethy, Frank Vincent and Margaret Robb,

with Raymonds team eventually running out worthy winners.

Latest.

Rule changes this year to note:

The Skip in all team games is now responsible for marking the card.

You can no longer give away the jack - you must play in order, the winner of the last end must deliver the jack.
