PRESIDENTS MIXED TRIPLES
Sunday
12th June.

Teams of Triples contested the Past Presidents Competition on
Sunday with the Section Winners being:
Section
A - J Carrol, B Duke & T McMullan.
Section
B - A Pate, S Pate & R McGhee.
Section
C - M Robb, J Getty & J Marshall.
The
Highest up runners up was decided by a one bowl shoot-out after
the two teams were both tied on eight Points with the same shot
difference, Shots Scored and ends won.
The
Team of A Crossan, M Crossan & M Sim winning through against
W
Carmichael, G Carmichael & M Butler.
 
At
the conclusion of a thrilling Final, the team of M Robb, J Getty
& J Marshall narrowly beat the team of R McGhee, S Pate
& A Pate.
Thanks

day.
LADIES
VERSUS GENTS.
The
Annual Ladies versus Gents "Friendly" took place on
Sunday 15th May with the proceedings compared by Master of Ceremonies
Mr Kenny Fisher.
 
Kenny
paid the Ladies the usual gushing compliments before sending
the teams out with a warning to the Gents not to come back in
if they lost.
 
Despite
their best efforts, the Ladies once again narrowly lost - albeit
with Liz Parkers team recording a victory, two others returning
draws and Carol Wilson also bagging the first "toucher"
for the Ladies. ( Kenny didn't miss that one.)
Although
the game was played with its' usual "edge", everyone
had a great day and many thanks go to the Past Presidents for
once again organising such a great competition and for the Ladies
for providing such a beautiful meal.
